Last Saturday, the company Geeroms Wegenbouw BV from Londerzeel presented its new washing plant for the production of high-quality recycled aggregates to the general public. This installation, which was completely custom-built, is capable of producing three fractions of coarse aggregates and one fraction of sand, through which the firm aims to do its part in the circular construction and economy to help reduce CO2 emissions and reduce primary material use.

During the festive presentation, the directors, Steven and Frederik Geeroms, were honored to receive the prestigious concrete aggregates A+ certificate from Pieter Keppens and Michaël Van Schelvergem of the certification body COPRO. This certificate confirms that the washed concrete aggregate 6.3/20 meets the highest quality standards and is suitable for use in new concrete pavements according to applicable regulations.

With this investment, the company Geeroms Wegenbouw takes a big step towards a more sustainable future.

Simultaneously with the new washing plant, a new wheel loader Hitachi ZW310-7 and a Hitachi ZX300LC-7 were commissioned.
