Kubota opens new skid-steer loader plant in America
The company opened their new skid-steer loader plant in Kansas on Monday.
Kubota produces 18000 skid-steer loaders annually. They therefore decided in 2020 to build a new plant with an initial production capacity of 3,000 units.
Thanks to the success of Kubota skid-steer loaders, the plant was now adjusted to a production capacity of 5,000 units per year with 190 employees. Approximately $53 million was spent.
Through 2030, Kubota will invest another $2.02 billion in new plants.
The first skid-steer loaders will become available for the European market in the second half of 2023.
